Artist’s Statement:

The primary focus of my work is to portray the wide variety of human interaction. I approach my painting with a genuine integrity, clinging to the basics of personal connections, both tangible and emotional. Which is to say, the people in my paintings show not only what is going on in their physical environment, but what is going on in their minds, what they are thinking, and what they are feeling. My work is direct, viable, emphasizing connections at an intensely personal level.
