Artist’s Biography:

Thiam Sun's technical range includes acrylic painting, oil painting and mixed media painting. His style allows for a rare dialogue as minimalist plates of color give way to calligraphic improvisations. Not only has the artist pioneered the integration and cross-pollination of disparate art movement within his works, but he has been among the first to exhibit these movements in Indonesia. Hansen Thiam Sun has exhibited his paintings across the world, in galleries in Jakarta, Bandung, Bali, USA, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Brazil, China and Taiwan. Review by Aminudin TH. Siregar.
