Artist’s Biography:
Tal R was born in Tel Aviv in 1967 and lives and works in Copenhagen. He began teaching a master class in painting at the Düsseldorf academy in 2005. Tal R has gained international recognition for his collages and playful combinations of styles and contexts which form a very idiosyncratic and complex pictorial language.
Awards & Reviews:
A retrospective exhibition of Tal R (Tal Rosenzweig), covering work done from 2000, took place at the Essl Museum in Austria from June - August 2008.

Artist’s Statement:
The abstract paintings Tal R creates have many stories to tell..Inspiration sources include elements of music, comic-strips aesthetics, television and the graphic design of old video games.
