Artist’s Statement:

Most of my early pieces were in soapstone or Bath stone and I still make carvings from these materials. In 2007, I learnt how to make bronze sculptures in cold cast resin and started making limited edition figures of seals. The seals are modelled on live animals seen around the Pembrokeshire coast and in the Milford Haven seal hospital. The majority of my work (both in stone and resin) is between 6 inches and two feet long, and all of it (to date) is portable!
