This show features a selection of Mike Kelley’s collaged textile works created between 1985 and 1993. His works includes large-scale pieces made of felt, a medium associated with infancy. Kelley engages with exposed prejudices; repression, popular cultures, adolescence and sexuality, transmitting his working in a quasi-religious mystery. Mike Kelley’s work contains symbolic references to American history and is highly political.
